HOW THE LAMANTIA FAMILY POLITICAL POLICIES ARE KILLING WOMEN IN TEXAS WHO NEED AN ABORTION

I agree Adam Hinojosa is not an option.  But unless Morgan LaMantia is willing to denounce her family political policies, she must take responsibility for women not being able to obtain emergency medical care for an abortion and dying.

The LaMantia family has donated to Texans for Lawsuit Reform.  Just check the page: The LaMantia family was the big winner in changing the law when suing trucking companies.  The LaMantia family pays the lobbyists to protect their businesses from negligence.  In 2022, she took $25,000 from the very organization which has made it nearly impossible to sue for medical malpractice.

So, this is how it works, her family business L & F Distributors are protected from lawsuits, and doctors in turn are protected against lawsuits.

Well women are not only suffering because of this con job, they are dying.

It is no secret it is nearly impossible for a woman to get an abortion in Texas.

And because of the LaMantia family and many others, families cannot sue doctor's whose malpractice cause their daughters to die.

You cannot say you are pro-choice and then fund the organization which allows doctors to deny care to women in need of an emergency abortion.

Anyone can say they are pro-choice, but their actions tell you the truth.

18-Year-old Crain died because of malpractice and Texas laws pushed by Texans for Lawsuit Reform will insure the doctors are not help accountable.  This is not pro-choice no matter what Morgan LaMantia says.   It is young women dying so her family is protected from lawsuits.

"Her vital signs pointed to possible sepsis, records show. It’s standard medical practice to immediately treat patients who show signs of sepsis, which can overtake and kill a person quickly, medical experts told ProPublica. These patients should be watched until their vitals improve. Through tests and scans, the goal is to find the source of the infection. If the infection was in Crain’s uterus, the fetus would likely need to be removed with a surgery."

The case of Dr. Jeffrey Reece:  He left my gallbladder in while leaving a 6–7-inch scar.  He lied to me. Weeks later during an ultrasound it was discovered he never removed my gallbladder.  I was told there was organ displacement.  This is why I did not sue him.  But he should have called in another surgeon. He did not.

Well, it has been about a year since Judge Gabby Garcia dismissed another gallbladder suit against Jeffrey Reece.  She did it after the Court of Appeals had to order her to issue a ruling.  Texas has a discovery rule.  This means limitations runs from the date you discover the malpractice.  It was too much for Gabby Garcia to understand.  So, after being ordered by the Court of Appeals to issue a ruling on his Motion for Summary Judgment she let him walk.

How many times does he get to mislead people about not removing their gallbladder before Texas law will hold him accountable?

This is happening because of families like the LaMantia family.  Hey, they got protection for their family business and the rest of us are left without remedy in court for valid lawsuits.

Oh, organ displacement is correctable, but we could find only one non-plastic surgeon in Texas who does the surgery.  He does not accept VA.  There is a growing body of evidence of the dangers caused by diastasis recti.  It is not a tummy tuck.  It is merely a repair of the abdominal muscle.  In many states there are many non-plastic surgeons who do the surgery.  Texas medical schools limit the training to plastic surgeons who do not take insurance.

My last big settlement for a client was a lawsuit against a hospital for illegal collection efforts.  I believe they claimed the bill was about $150,000, for emergency room services.  The problem is all the evidence showed my client's husband was declared dead in his car on the highway after bleeding out.

We had recorded calls from the business office they had pictures her husband was alive and in her kitchen.  In a mandamus proceeding after the court of appeals made clear they would reverse the trial judge for dismissing the lawsuit the hospital settled big time.

Then Texans for Lawsuit Reform had the law changed to make it nearly impossible to sue a hospital for such unethical conduct.   This is the LaMantia family.  They do not care about how you are denied justice so long as their company is protected against lawsuits.
