 To put this into context.  I am going on 2 weeks in the hospital for antibiotic resistance. In many cases after about 2 weeks undergoing infusion therapy in the hospital you are released to continue the therapy as an outpatient.  It would be a morning session only.

I am getting a four-hour infusion session twice a day, and a 2-hour session once a day. The latter is every 18 hours.  This is why I have a double midline IV in my left bicep.  then throughout the day I am getting painkillers through the IV.  This is separate from the insulin I get three times a day.  I am told the blood sugar is high because of the sugar level.

There is rarely 30 minutes which goes by that someone is not in my room hooking me up to something.
