This is silly, but a real problem. I do not write randomly. My long-term readers know I love an analytical model. I always begin with a list of primary variables. I then treat them as a puzzle. On my pad I may draw lines between the different variables. On those lines I may make notes.
I love my set of Blackstone's Common Law, but because it was a gift from someone special, I will not mark the pages. I do have a post-it on nearly every page.
If you look at my original copy of Glenn Tinder's "Political Thinking" I h, on most pages, I have handwritten notes in pencil. They may reference a past passage in the book. I will include the page number. I may even include a page number to a completely different book.
So, I have things to do, and I need my 5x8 legal pad, and a pencil. Because all my pads were in use. and I do not mix issues on the pad my roommate had to buy me two new three packs. I think he bought the pencils because they are not sharpened. So now I have everything I need except a pencil.
How is it something so simple can hold up progress?
If you are in Harlingen, you can bring me a pencil sharpener at VB Harlingen. I am in the east tower.
I will not even consider bothering the staff with such a trivial issue.
