BROWNSVILLE FEDERAL COURT HOUSE, A GEM IN HISTORY AND CIVILITY

I have said many times; all county district and county clerks should have to spend a week working with their federal counterparts.

The federal workers, including security are so civil and friendly you are compelled to ask, why are things so different at the county level?  It is a lack of leadership.

THE ART MUSEUM IN THE FEDERAL COURT HOUSE

When I am in the courthouse, I browse all the black and white photos which show Brownsville's history.  I do not go from floor to floor; I just browse them on the floor I am visiting.  I can assure you, in a very friendly and professional manner, federal security forces will ask you what you are doing.  I support them.  Their job is to protect the federal employees.  They do a fine job.

But as a history buff, I wish I could look at all the photos, at once.  That is not possible because it would mean wondering floor to floor.

My big frustration is because I cannot bring my phone inside the courthouse, I cannot take pictures of the black and white photos.

If you have reason to be in the federal courthouse, I recommend you browse the photos on your floor.  They will not disappoint.

It would be nice if some millionaire lawyer would try and commission a professional to make duplicates.

These pictures are a wonderful history of Brownsville, which all must see.
