At this time, it seems Kendall Scudder and Gina Hinojosa seem incredibly clueless in how you rebuild the Texas Democratic Party. It begins by tossing off all institutional/plantation Democrats from the Party. That means you Gina Hinojosa.
You will not flip Texas from red to blue by claiming, "vote for the first Latina candidate for governor.
You will not flip Texas when your candidate for governor is begging for $10,000, at a time her opponent Greg Abbott has
Gina Hinojosa is begging to raise $10,000, at a time Greg Abbott has about $96 million in available funds. This does not fly with her reported actual donations and cash on hand.
TUSA is reporting the following on Gina as of May 16, 2026

Total Donations: about $2,417,618
Total Spent: about $1,660.188
By asking for a mere $10,000 to pursue her false claims on Data Centers makes her look weak.

WHILE IT IS TRUE CLAYTON TUCKER FOR AGRICULTURE COMMISSIONER DOES NOT HAVE THE MONEY TO MANAGE AN EFFECTIVE CAMPAIGN - See TUSA, he has a message, something lacking in the Gina Hinojosa campaign and in fact in the campaign being run by the Texas Democratic Party.

THE BATTLE TO TAKE BACK THE STATE IS ONE ELECTION AT A TIME, SOMETHING LOST ON HINOJOSA AND SCUDDER
You will find no information put out by the Texas Democratic Party telling you or me which state House or Senate races are possible swing elections which we as Democrats can win if we help the candidates raise the money to win the seat. We need to target our money on these lessor elections, which will take down the supermajority currently held by the Republicans.
The first step to change is getting rid of the supermajority held by the Republicans in the House and Senate. Scudder is clueless on this issue which is why as the leader he offers no help.
The next step is to seek out a state office candidate whose message can turn Republicans voters into voting for Democrats.
Everyone knows I am not a supporter of the Texas Democratic Party of plantation/institutional democrats. They offer nothing to the people.
But look at Clayton Tucker's campaign page. It is detailed with ideas which will help our farmers and ranchers. He may not be able to win, but he can move Republican farmers and ranchers to the Democratic party and help win a few House and Senate seats which may be a toss-up.
Scudder and the Texas Democratic Party should be telling use which seats we may be able to flip. Scudder and his team are clueless and seem to be working hard to ensure the Republicans continue to control Texas.
This is how you bring change, and not by begging for chump change.
