RJ MITT OF THE MITT FOUNDATION DIED TODAY AT AGE 34, WHILE IN BROWNSVILLE
Update: TMZ is reporting a Cameron County official ran to them stating the cause of death while the investigation remains ongoing.
What is wrong with Cameron County and its officials? This official needs to be identified and fired. We are better than this one person. Reporting on a tragic death of a young man is only made worse by premature press releases while the investigation is pending.
I want to know the name of the JP who signed off on the cause of death.
His breakout role was on "Breaking Bad." He played the role of someone with cerebral palsy, such as he had in real life.
As the president of the Mitt Foundation, RJ just sign an agreement with the city of Brownsville "joining forces to breathe new life into a historic downtown landmark. The former Brownsville Museum of Fine Art will soon be transformed into the Mitte Arts and Cultural Center, a vibrant space dedicated to creativity, culture, and community.
Under a 40-year lease and operating agreement approved between the City and the Mitte Cultural District, the District has committed to investing at least $2.5 million in capital improvements to renovate and enhance the facility over the next 18 months.
“This partnership is a bold step forward,” said Brownsville Mayor John Cowen Jr. “Together, the City and the Mitte Cultural District are revitalizing a treasured space and turning it into something that will serve generations of Brownsville families. The forthcoming Mitte Arts and Cultural Center is poised to become a cornerstone of creativity, education, art, and tourism. It supports our goals of enhancing the quality of life and building a thriving and inclusive city.”
