HOW LAURA PEREZ REYES WAS EVER ELECTED DISTRICT CLERK IS BEYOND ME

Every time I am up there and there is a problem she is never, ever in the office.  The staff delay me until they can find a supervisor who will agree to allow them to comply with the law.

Laura has been warned she is to get her legal advice from the county lawyers and not Saenz.  She fails to understand the simplest of rules.  A criminal defendant is entitled to every order of the court.  There are two important orders she refuses to release.  Failure to comply with these orders could land the defendant in jail without bond.

So, Laura being unwilling to learn basic law even an entry level clerk should know, has decided she will wait for a federal judge to order she comply with even the simplest of laws.  After such a ruling she can be removed from office.

Every effort has been made to end this nightmare.  Saenz is going to destroy everyone.  There is now no going back on any complaints already filed in Austin or with the FBI.  They cannot be negotiated away.

This is all so sad. 

I will be busy on Monday, to include an emergency appointment with my ENT surgeon.  Something is wrong.  I have to deal with horrific pain because I was not told codeine can induce sleep apnea.  Having had respiratory problems with it some 40 years ago, I would have rejected it had I known it can induce sleep apnea.  It was a bad night, and I believe my machine (which forces air into my lungs) and sildenafil (which increases blood flow into my lungs) are the only reason I did not die in my sleep.  It was that bad.  The pain is unbearable from the two ENT surgeries.
