Sofia Benavides was front and center when Boca Chica beach was given to Elon Musk. She was front and center when the highway to the Port was built with our money, allowing drug dealers to bring Fentanyl and other drugs into Brownsville via the Port without passing any check point.
Without paying for silence, Sofia would be being called out just like Elon Musk and Eddie Trevino.
The real icing on the cake is the decision to sell out all of the Cameron County residents around SpaceX. Once Space Port a city of some 70 people is incorporated, Elon Musk will use his money to push for eminent domain around Space Port to force people to sell their land for development of the municipality. The Elon Musk city will use his money to declare the sounding area as extraterritorial jurisdiction. It will not be long before the majority of the residents who are now just part of Cameron County, will be part of Space Port, paying taxed to Elon Musk.
Let us not forget Sofia Benavides was party to the improper use of the Covid vaccine for her compadres, while leaving cancer and organ transplant victims to die. Given my current heath crisis in counties run by honorable elected officials, I would have been given a priority. I am very high risk for Covid. I have my 24/25 Covid vaccine, but I am still high risk. My body cannot fight infection.
So here is your proof Sofia Benavides had no problem leaving those with high risk for Covid to die, while she used the vaccine for political ends.

Without paying social media for silence, Sofia Benavides would be a persona non grata in any honest community.
