OKAY MOVING FORWARD - I AM KEEPING MY PROMISE TO MOVE ON THOSE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE JOHN DOE MESS

Today started out real poorly.  The nurse last night was late twice on the painkillers. We are talking over an hour.   I am now on three.  But the nurse and I worked together as a team.  He was overwhelmed and he was doing his best.  The end result I only slept 2 hours.

Then this morning was the pass off.  She was told the night nurse was already an hour late.  She said she would be right back with the painkiller.  I was getting close to a 10-pain level. We had already had two instances where I was hysterical crying in pain.  Once I hit a 10-pain level, there is no fixing it, and they have to give me yet a 4th painkiller.  Every nurse has been an A+.  Even last night he was good.  It was not his fault.  We worked as a team to try and fix it. 

Then all hell broke out when the charge nurse with no knowledge of the facts says to me "for an educated person you are very rude."  Yes, that is not going to happen.  Well, all my doctors came to see me.  It was not their fault their hands are tied waiting on two reports. 

  I can see the new nurse was running around, so I did not push the pain button.  After an hour she came in and would not give me the painkiller before she did all the paperwork needed for the morning meds.  They have been instructed in this. They are to process the pain med, give it to me and then continue with the protocol in processing all my meds.

I am as needed, which gives the doctor a better gage as to how much pain I am in.

The new nurse was a gem.  She made sure my pain times were on the board.  I never had to call her, She knew the times and just came in. She had a great day together.  I am still giving the overall quality of care an "A"

Even food service is great.  They are so good about making sure I have my cereal and Almond milk.  With the exception of pasta and sauce I am fine with everything.

So I now have my portable hard drive, so I can prepare the federal lawsuit and mandamus. The new 13th Court of Appeals are working hard, and I see no game playing in their rulings. The lawyers like a predictable court.  I am certain I will see opinions I do not like.  That is okay.
