YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A CATHOLIC TO BE INSPIRED BY POPE LEO XIV

For me the real miracle in first Pope Francis and now Pope Leo XIV is, you do not have to be catholic to be inspired by their words and actions. 

I love how many agnostics and atheists I know who are inspired by both the late Francis, and now Pope Leo XIV.

I will be honest; there is no way I can live by his words as quoted above.  But I can try really hard to adjust how I speak and to make sure I keep resentment, fanaticism and hatred from my words.   My journey on this path will be my peace. 

THE JOSHUA FACTOR

I see Joshua [aka Jesus] as a great prophet.  I think you miss out on the greatness of Joshua as a prophet if you see him as more than a prophet.  Within reason I live by his words.

Matthew 6 is important to me because it clearly defines faith.  There is only one prayer and that is the Lord's Prayer.  Matthew 6 teaches us God, not Joshua, knows everything we need before we need it, and God provides everything we need.  For me it is a lack of faith which has people praying for health for example. Matthew 6 clearly says God will provide because he already knows even before we know our needs.  Faith is accepting God will provide what you need and not what you want. 

At some point we will all pass.  I personally consider it a blessing to have been raised without parents.  I am inspired by my parents every day.  They are with me in the most important ways.  They have never left my side.  This is my blessing for them having passed when I was so young.  I see so many people who have parents and have no sense of the blessing they have bestowed on their children. 

My point is God does not fail you when your parent is not healed.  Just keep your eyes open and you will see the blessing. 

WHO IS JOSHUA?

First Joshua was a Hebrew.   Joshua is the English translation of his Hebrew name. Jesus is the name given to him by the Romans who put him on the cross.  I have always found it odd we refer to him by the name of the people who put him on the cross.

IS JOSHUA RESURRECTED?

Yes, but in the substance of who he was and is. Matthew 6 especially when read with the parable of JOB, defines true faith.  If you have this in your heart and his message of compassion, he is resurrected in your heart.  There is no reason for the mysticism.  The mysticism causes people to walk away from all great prophets.
