COMPARING 2020 TO 2024 AND HOW DONALD TRUMP TOOK THE LRGV

On the bottom when you compare 2020 to 2024, your clearly see how Trump destroyed Gilberto Hinojosa and his minions.   Gilberto's post-election silence is deafening.

Last night I was laughing at Deborah Bell, the Chair of the Cameron County Republican Party, was all like "we are organized and will win in 2026."  Well, they are not organized.  When I tried to learn about the Republican candidates, I could not find a FB page or internet page for the Cameron County Republican Party.  I learned about the candidates by going to the sample ballot at the elections office. 

Once I learned about Martinez's qualifications for Tax Assessor it was easy to support him.  But there was no Republican organization helping him.  This was an easy win for the Republicans, and they blew it.

THE 13TH COURT OF APPEALS, WHERE I DID WORK AGAINST ALL THE SITTING JUDGES, WE CLEANED OUT ALL DEMOCRATS ON THE BALLOT

Well, the Republicans swept the court of appeals and come January every Democrat on the ballot will become unemployed.  

SOON TO BE FORMER JUSTICE NORA LONGORIA ACTUALLY OVERRULED RICHARD POSNER THE MOST ACCLAIMED JURIST IN THE UNITED STATES

Now if you believe Nora Longoria, which I do not, she was unaware of federal court of appeals judge Richard Posner's opinion in Reed v, State of Illinois.  The case began in state court, and the state denied the pro se disabled person her ADA right to have someone help her speak and have the proceedings explained to her.  A lawsuit was filed in federal court to assert her ADA rights and on appeal Richard Posner found the state court violated her rights. 

WHO IS RICHARD POSNER?

In 2022, a study found he has been cited more than any other jurist in the United States.  His opinions are often deciding opinion in US Supreme Court Opinions.  Nora Longoria was unimpressed and refused to follow Judge Posner's interpretation of federal law.  This will very soon be looked at in federal court here with Gabby Garcia as the named defendant.  These people are not Democrats.  They run with a "D" next to their name so they can win.  If the growth of the Republican Party in Cameron County holds, I can see every Democratic Judge in Cameron County losing in 2026.

The Longoria case is Swain v. Dobbs.   First of all, no real Democrat would limit the rights of a disabled person, or overrule such a well-regarded jurist of Richard Posner.  Before the Swain opinion there was already a strong movement to remove the entire 13th Court of Appeals.

I just joined in the battle and worked hard to educate as many true Democrats as possible.

SO, IS TRUMP REALLY GOING TO BE POWERFUL?

What I am about to say you will not hear in the news media.  They stick to their narrative never allowing facts to get in their way. 

First a part of me believes Trump is going to pivot to the Center. He has nothing to prove to his base. He is now creating his legacy, which means pivoting to the center.

THE NEIL GORSUCH FACTOR

Associate Justice Neil Gorsuch is not going to abandon his work on the Supreme Court to help President elect Trump to overstep his powers.

The Gorsuch Doctrine is actually very clear, and something I support 100%. If the law as passed by Congress does not clearly allow for an Executive Order, or regulation Gorsuch consistently votes to void them.  Gorsuch cares about his legacy and now he can prove he is willing to enforce his doctrine against Trump.  This will keep Trump in check.

MY VIEW IS THE SAME AS ALWAYS

I do not believe Trump, Elon Musk and RFK are going to work well together.  That trio should fall apart fast.

I do not like Elon Musk.  He is part of the Billionaire Council.  But he is here in Cameron County and wants a lot for Cameron County to help SpaceX. 

If Elon Musk does what he should do, he will seal Cameron County as a solid Republican hold. 

If the Republicans in Cameron County can find a high-tech leader, working with Elon Musk they can end the Democrats in Cameron County. 

If asked I would be willing to work to rebuild the Texas Democratic Party.  We have to make a big deal over how dangerous the Billionaire's Council really is.  But for now, if Elon Musk is offering the world to Cameron County, why would I oppose his efforts, knowing the Republicans will be the winner.  

Some high profile Republican needs to meet with Elon Musk and ask for the money to build the Republican Party in Cameron County.  He has the money and influence.

I would actually convert an undeveloped downtown building to a nice meeting place for Republicans with a liquor license and food. 

When the Democrats in Dallas were still in the wilderness, someone did this for them.  They then turned things around.

LOOK PEOPLE, OUR SYSTEM WORKS BEST WHEN THERE IS COMPETITION

We are not going to rid the Democratic Party of all the bad people, until we have a viable Republican Party.  We can always vote the Republicans out if they fail to perform.

On Trump I will sit and wait to see if he pivots to the center.
