AFTER TONIGHT'S TRIUMPH SPEACH, I AM NOT CERTAIN THERE IS A DEMOCRATIC PARTY
I am not saying I agree with Trump. I do not. But he hit the talking points the people believe are important. The speech was a grand slam. I believe it was one big con job, but my opinion does not matter. Trump hit every major point he needed to hit to win over the people.
I believe we will go into a world recession. But the people do not understand the interlocking of economies.
I get it, people believe the U.S. has been the bank to the world in the form of many grants. The numbers Trump threw out were impressive. The world lives off of grants funded with our tax dollars. The people have said enough is enough.
The problem is the people do not understand the ramifications to the world economy when you pull aid.
Oh, Trump was good at listing billions of foreign aid for absurd things in the eyes of the people.
I do not agree with the science that by circumcising men, you reduce the spread of HIV. The evidence in Europe where circumcision is not common does not really show a higher increase of HIV than in the U.S. But if it is true circumcision reduces the spread of HIV, then the world saves on the cost of treating HIV.
My first experience with medical aid was in Nicaragua. My aunt provided inoculations for the local children. She was trained using grant money from the U.S. By controlling measles for example, it reduced the chance of it spreading to the U.S. There will be ramifications to the U.S. when preventable deceases spread among children in poor countries.
Trump won the night and as I type continues to stack up points. The Democratic Party is broken, and they have no plans on fixing their Party.
