NYC MAYOR ZOHRAN MAMDANI DEFENDS REVOKING TWO FORMER MAYOR ADAM'S EO FAVORING ISRAEL

MAMDANI EFFECTIVELY IS SAYING, YOU DO NOT PROTECT NYC JEWS BY CONTROLLING SPEECH AND BOYCOTTS, BUT BY INCREASING SECURITY.  THE FORMER ONLY PROMOTES HATRED TOWARDS JEWS, AND THE LATTER PROMOTES SECURITY 

You need background on what is happening.  Mamdani kept the NYC Police Commissioner, a Jewish woman, who was credited to increasing protection for Jewish residents and synagogues.

The debate should be about protecting Jewish residents, and their homes and places of worship, and not controlling speech which some non-U.S. organization seeks to silence.  The latter is what Adams did.  He was desperate for the Zionist Jewish vote, and it did not work.

Silencing people who seek to stand with Palestine does not help Jewish people around the world or Israel.  All over the world Jews are denouncing Bibi Netanyahu 's genocide against the Palestinian people. They are denouncing Zionist Israel which is actually the primary cause of antisemitisms rise around the world.

"Mamdani, a Muslim who some have accused of antisemitism over his support of Palestinians in Gaza, told reporters on Friday that he would fund measures to prevent hate crimes, and would make protection of Jewish New Yorkers a focus of his administration."

This is how you protect NYC Jews and in fact around the world, which is something I support.  You do not protect Jews but limiting speech and protests in support of Palestine and against Netanyahu.  The latter is how you increase hate towards Jews, something I oppose. 

Antisemitism should be defined by the confines of our Constitution and reverence for speech. It should not interfere with a vibrant debate over the actions of Netanyahu's genocidal policies.  It should not allow for fundraising to build on occupied lands.  It should make clear, Jews all over the world can denounce Netanyahu without being called antisemitic.  This is how we make clear Netanyahu's policies are not of the Jewish people.

Just because I stand with Palestine, does not mean I will not defend Israel's right to exist.  It does not mean I will not come to the defense of Jewish people all over the world.  I am against genocide and occupation of sovereign people's land.  The press proves itself useless when it fails to repeat the Hamas attack was on occupied land.  I do not support the attack, but please since when does a nation not have the right to attack the people who have stolen their land? Netanyahu and his supporters have done more than anyone I can think of in history to damage the reputation of the Jewish people.

No Hitler, did not damage the reputation of Jewish people.  I tell the historical truth on this issue.  Henry Ford wrote the "International Jew" which influenced Hitler.  For all the wrong reasons people going into WWII disliked Jews.

Our leaders in the U.S. knew what was happening in Germany, they did not care.  Jews were a dime a dozen in the U.S. talking about the historical bigotry against Jews in Europe.  We shunned these Jews into the shadows so as to deny them a voice.  Our leaders were as much a part of the disgrace of the holocaust in Europe as the Germans.

Jewish children who were successfully evacuated to the UK during the war were treated like trash in orphanages.  

If you know history, Jews were a victim of bigotry which eventually only increased the distain for Jews.  Jews were forced as a punishment to become bankers, doctors and musicians.  They were not proper professions for Christians.  And then when they succeeded in education, we attacked them for being who we made them to be. 

No Hitler drew from the historical unjustified bigotry towards Jews.  He played on people's perceived fears. He was able to use the preexisting bigotry towards Jews to bring about the holocaust. Netanyahu is actually engaging in a policy of genocide towards Palestinians.  As a consequence of his policies poorly educated people are blaming Jews.
